At Walmart, I serve as a Staff Software Engineer building the data foundation behind MyAssistant, Walmart's internal AI tool. I architected and deployed Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data pipelines that serve high-concurrency query answering for millions of associates.

I also engineer scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines with Apache Spark that expose CoreHR data across global SAP and Workday tenants, partnering with AI/ML, product, and engineering teams to model data and establish robust data governance practices.

Kroger

At Kroger, I was a Senior Advanced Service Developer working on ads and personalization: I built the API services behind Digital Coupons and the personalized ad experience in the Kroger mobile app, using TypeScript and Node.js in the Apex microservice layer.

These services personalized promotion rankings for customers, with effectiveness validated through A/B testing, improving engagement and driving revenue growth across Kroger's digital ecosystem.

Compliance.ai

At Compliance.ai, I served as an API Product Manager, bridging the gap between stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions. My role involved collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating these needs into actionable plans for engineers to build tailored APIs.

Additionally, I took charge of publishing release notes, providing high-level support for complex issues, and validating weekly releases to ensure the API was in optimal condition before deployment to production. My contributions were integral in maintaining the reliability and performance of Compliance.ai's API ecosystem, ensuring seamless functionality for its users.

Workmigo

As the technical co-founder of Workmigo, I played a key role in creating solutions aimed at improving employee satisfaction, providing actionable coaching insights, and fostering collaboration between employees and employers to achieve more together.

I led the development of innovative platforms that leveraged modern technologies, including Next.js, TypeScript, Firebase, Zapier, and HubSpot. These tools allowed Workmigo to deliver meaningful insights and streamlined processes, supporting organizations in building stronger, more effective teams. My contributions were integral in driving the company’s mission to bridge gaps and enhance workplace relationships through data and technology.

Mesh

Mesh is a great startup looking to put license verification of professionals on autopilot. I was contracted to build a special documentation page to improve DX (Developer Experience) and make it easier for their partners to integrate with them.

Their Node.js backend is written using AppSync, a GraphQL offering in AWS. I made documentation around simplified REST API routes that made getting started much easier for new customers.

Smart ERC

Smart ERC (Employee Retention Credit) was a startup born out of the idea of making it easier for companies that kept their employees during the COVID pandemic to qualify for the government's special tax credit.

My role with Smart ERC involved creating a tool that connected with a third-party API that would safely export relevant HR data from a company's HR system into Smart ERC accounting system to process their ERC documentation.

The Language Group

The Language Group provides large-scale translation services for both public and private companies.

My role involved creating a special REST API proxy that plumbs old system data into downstream systems that generate billing, invoices and business critical analytics.

Waterlabsag

Waterlabsag is an Ag data service that provides aggregated irrigation sensor and soil moisture data to Farmers and Ag Service providers.

My role involved creating an API proxy that makes it possible for Farmers to see near real time data that help them make better decisions about their crops.

Resmark

Resmark was born out of a tour operator wanting to leverage technology to better manage their customers. The CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) was built so well, they decided to provide to all tour operators and it has been a major player in the industry ever since.

The Resmark solution also includes a variety of other powerful solutions like WaveriSign and Trueconnect that have been used by major experience providers like Island Routes, LL Bean and the Final Four.

Spoiled Banana Society

Spoiled Banana Society is an upcoming fantasy sports NFT platform. Token owners can buy cards they can play each week of the NFL season and win big prizes in general and small contests.

My contributions to this project include an off chain backend that makes it possible for a card owner's scores to be calculated in near real time during a live game.

Traeger Grills

Traeger has been a leader in wood pellet grills for over 30 years. They were the first to offer WiFire which enables grill owners to start, stop and monitor their cooks from their smartphone or smart speaker.

Worked across the full AWS infrastructure to deliver a powerful GraphQL API used to do some pretty powerful things like power the recipe search experience, change ingredients based upon number of servings and more.

Trucking SE

Trucking SE provides a platform to serve the trucking industry with a tailored solution for finding the nearest trucking repair shop that services their tractor at a fair price. Over 13,000 Tractor, Trailer, and Mobile repair shops are listed on the platform.

I worked personally with the owner to come up with this powerful solution that uses geohashing to query a large firestore data set to find the closest repair shop meeting a user's queries.

The Muse Project

The Muse project (formerly known as Eden) was conceived out of the need for the Walmart Global Supply Chain to treat organic products differently than nonorganic products from a supply chain perspective.

As a Software Engineer at Walmart Labs, I developed distributed real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka and Node.js/Java that process telemetry to predict produce quality across the supply chain.

Core Transcription and Translation API

Authenticity.ai was founded to provide highly accurate Artificial Intelligence surveillance solutions to the Legal and Compliance industries.

Authenticity provides audio and video recognition solutions with custom trainable artificial intelligence engines for audio transcription, language translation, facial recognition and object detection.

Curriculum Management Solutions for Higher Education

Curriqunet, formerly Governet, provides a curriculum management solution for colleges and institutions of higher learning needing a simple solution for managing change within their curriculums.

The tool provides a framework which makes getting new courses and programs approved by accrediting bodies much easier and more straightforward.

ConformX and Solex eSigning solution

Docutech provides several solutions that together facilitate the entire loan approval process electronically. Loan service originators can submit borrower information and get guaranteed valid electronic or paper documents needed to close a loan.

ConformX (the main document generating platform) and Solex (the mobile signing solution) along with several other services provide the basis for an entirely paperless end to end mortgage solution from Initial Disclosure to post closing.
